MAWS Directory of Midwives is a list of active MAWS Professional Members. It is provided as a benefit of membership and as a public service. It does not imply endorsement of member midwives. It is up to the consumer to fully research provider choices. The Washington Department of Health maintains a Provider Credential Search web site and can be accessed by consumers to verify that a midwife’s license is active.
