Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Pandemic, MAWS hosted a series of webinars in lieu of an in person conference in 2020 and created 3 amazing webinars in 2021 More information below!
Picture
Many licensed midwives in Washington state have long wanted the ability to prescribe common antibiotics to their clients during the perinatal year. This webinar will give a thorough overview of pharmacological management of UTIs, mastitis, various STIs, and vaginitis in order to further educate midwives about the antibiotics, antivirals, and antifungals commonly prescribed to their clients to treat these conditions. This webinar will increase Licensed Midwives’ understanding of medications their clients are currently prescribed by other care providers and will, if prescriptive authority for licensed midwives becomes possible, serve as a thorough, preliminary training.

Recording and CEUs will be available only to confirmed registrants for sixty days following the event. Be sure to register even if you cannot attend the live event!
