The Midwives' Association of Washington State has been primarily a volunteer-ran organization with a very limited budget. We are asking for donations to keep funding the goals and action items we take.

Some of the ways your donation will help:
  • Continuing to provide free memberships to midwives of color
  • More community outreach to promote and advocate for the profession of midwifery
  • Sustaining the operations of this organization
  • Paying for our lobbyist, Amber Ulvenes, who helps us fight for ALL midwives in Washington State
  • Continuing to provide quality educational materials and organizing conferences to satisfy Continuing Education requirements
  • Continuing to run our gold-standard Quality Management Program, which provides protected peer-review and incident-review to our members
  • Supporting other organizations with similar values and visions

Land Acknowledgement
